I found the info using a wild card search, this is what I entered into the search box:

Alex* Tho* 1832 East Lothian

I dont use GR records but if you do, try searching using the above entry

The different names will be a mistake from the transcriber

Hi Cynthia so much for taking the time to search for me, Is there an actual address in Cockenzie. The 1841 Census is a bit confusing All their surnames are different, how ever did you identify it as my Family?

Are you not able to pull that info from Genesreunited?

It seems one of Mary Kelly nee Thomson's daughters also married a Thomson. I wonder if they were related ?
