Given the age I would think the registers will have been deposited with the relevant County Record Office which in this case is the Shropshire Archives. |

Thank you so much to all the people who responded to my query. The 1841 census is the right one . I,m the same person who has the Titherington family tree on Ancestry and I live in Australia so I have to do all my research on the computer which is OK if you know where to look. |

My GGGGrandfather Thomas Green 1776 married a Frances Hartshorn on 3/4/1815 at St. Alkmund, Shropshire, before the marriage she had 2 illegitimate children with Thomas named as the father. For the last few years I have tried to find the birth, parents etc of Frances but to no avail. |
