I can't find a death for Sarah around the time he may have remarried. That would link the two together.

Thomas, had a son Benjamin by Sarah, as far as I can see M. Heatherington was Mary Jane Graham. if that is indeed my Thomas.

I have come across this before. He may have remarried after he married Sarah but again, I can't be sure. I do have this attached to my tree but the name change which includes an "a" in the surname throws the family off in a different direction. I am sure we come from Cumberland and the "Steel Bonnets" of the 1300's but I can't see me ever getting back that far lol.
