	I don't think so. He appears only as William on all the records I have found.

	Thank you PricklyHolly I had the same problem. Your Crew member is an earlier generation and I am gradually working backwards.

	I have posted the 1881 census which shows William Lodging in Folkestone. I cannot find him in 1891 and 1901 census but he reappears in 1911 with his new wife. Could some kind person look to see if they can find the family in 1891 and 1901. His first wife died in 1901.
