Yes I have viewed John Maddin's birth certificate on Scoltands people he was born 26 March 1825 and died 20 May 1869 He married Jane Wallace 20 Dec 1859 have viewed their marriage cert on Scotlands people. Somewhere along the line the surname changed I dont know why.

Hi I have found the birth certificate of my great x4 grandfather he was born on 2 March 1797 in Sorn , Ayr Scotland (he was a twin his sister was Ann) I feel like I am running around in circles I have been trying to find a marriage certificate to my great x4 grandmother Janet Costing and also a death certificate but have had no luck. I have found him on the 1841 Scottish Census but haven't found him again on. Any help would be appreciated
