Hi

Does anyone have access to ancestry.com?

there are a couple of matches coming up in these records, if anyone would be kind enough to supply me details.

New York, Naturalization Records, 1897-1944 and 1930 USA census.

His full name is Patrick Joseph Cullen born 1905 in Waterford, Ireland. Not sure if this one coming up in those records is the one I am looking for born in Waterford, but may be ablle to rule in or out by details.

I can do ancestry.co.uk and findmypast.co.uk and i.e. lookups in return if they are of any help.

thank you in advance.

When I was looking this morning, there was a brother Thomas listed on a passenger entry. He did have a brother with that name, common I know!

If you have any other info on him, please post it.

I wonder if this is his death?

I have managed to discover that he married Gertrude Murphy in 1929 in Waterford.

the Patrick Joseph Cullen on the passenger list must be the same one in the naturalization records I would guess and he was born in Roscommon, so that rules out mine.

But yes my Patrick did have a brother Thomas too born 1908.

Thanks for your help.

Edit:

I guess you mean this marriage, but how do you know it's 'your' couple? Do you have the marriage certificate?

thanks for the census details Erin

I hadnt found her on the census yet. I will double check with her marriage that it is indeed her parents.

Patrick was my grandmothers brother. So I am just trying to pin all the family (a large one at that) together.

thank you everyone for your help.

Let me know if anyone needs a look up on any of the records I have access to, as in my original post. :)
