Help/advice requested in trying to trace Elizabeth Harvey b abt 1862 in Newfoundland.
Edward George Harvey (1838 Broadhempston, Devon - 1896 St Pancras, London) travelled to Newfoundland with several family members.
He missed the 1861 Census but shows up in 1871 Census at 25 Hanover St, Kentish Town, London. He has a wife, Margaret (surname unknown) and daughter Elizabeth (b abt 1862), both born abroad (I read return as North America Brit(ish) Colonies) and 2 sons born in Kentish Town (His brother Edwin & family are at same address). Margaret died in 1878 1881 Census has family at 1 Sherbourn Cottages, Tottenham with a "stepmother" Elizabeth is noted as born in America. 1891 census has family at 32 Dickenson St, Kentish Town. Elizabeth is noted as born in Newfoundland.
I have nothing for Elizabeth after that. Edward George Harvey died in 1896
Any help/advice would be welcome!
David

By 'nothing', do you mean that there is no marriage or death for the name?

Have you looked in 1901 using only her first name and birth details?

Reggie
I had tried using Elizabeth and Newfoundland only in 1901 & 1911 Censuses & also marriages with father as Edward George Harvey.
The Haddy connection is interesting. I have a marriage of Harry John Harvey b 1904 to Alice M Haddy in Newton Abbot. They may be related!
