A tree on Ancestry says her parents are George King (1792-1857) and Elizabeth Sarah Champkin (1796-1862). Siblings Mary, 1818, Alice, 1819, William, 1823, George, 1826 and Naomi, 1828. |

I now have her marriage in Westoning 13/04/1846 showing her father was John King. Interesting that she made her 'mark' on the certificate yet later became licensee at the Bell Inn at Westoning. Perhaps the skill of counting money was all that was required. :-) |
