Thanks for your question. I have a letter from a relative of a previous wife. She helped me with information to connect to my half-brother and in passing mentioned that my father went on to have a daughter with another partner. I have nothing more to go on, except to know that the letter was filled with accurate memories about my half-brother, whom I have now met a couple of times.

How did you find out that this man fathered a daughter?

With no idea of when, where and with whom...............what is the basis for this assertion?

My thanks to all the advice so far.

Now I have another challenge...I have just re-read early emails in my quest file and realised that, sometime after 1967, Tony, my father, had another child. This time a daughter, my half-sister. I cannot, at the moment, find a new marriage, and have no mother name to find a birth certificate, and no name to go on.

Dear masters of the Beddow hunt...can you offer me any more clues.

Dear Shirley - thanks for so much rich research. I have Bruce (father) tracked, and don't think the Edith / Anthony 1950 wedding is the same but will check more deeply. I have written (I hope) to the Informant on the death certificate, although the address is no longer hers - but I think I've tracked a possible match. I suspect she was a social worker/nurse who found him dead.

Dear Jax - thanks for spotting the other entries I had made in 2007/8 when I was first on the hunt. Delighted people have been able to come back to me this time.

Hello Chris - have you used "Search" top right hand corner to look for any connectons on this site?

I am returning to my search for more information on my father, and I would welcome hearing from anyone on a similar search. Born to Stella and Bruce in Cannock, he spent time in London and Spain, maybe as a diver. According to one person he may have been married 7 times...so I am guessing I may have quite a number of half-brothers and sisters. I would love to be able to find some of them.

Can you help me. My immense thanks to those who helped in my first search in 2007/8 after which I took a break. Now I am inspired to try again.
