I've only seen FREE transcription on IGI of the census and Lucinda's birthplace is not mentioned.

The census should say where his wife was born

More help needed if possible? I have a Patrick Dunn born Ireland circa 1821 in my tree. Patrick appears in the 1881 census, living at 6 Dexter Street, Toxteth Park, Liverpool with the occupation given as sailor. Wife Lucinda and a daughter also Lucinda. His father’s name is given as John and his mother’s as Helen (maybe Ellen)

Can anyone help me find the following:-

1. Patrick’s birth place in Ireland and date if possible (father John, mother Helen) I’ve found a Patrick Dunn born 1817 in Liverpool with the right parental names, but why claim he was Irish in 1881??

2. I’ve had no luck tracing Patrick and Lucinda’s marriage, as I’d like to know what Lucinda’s maiden name was and was she also from Ireland or was she from somewhere else.

Thanks in advance!

Steve
