Also, I don't see any Elizabeth in her 80s in Somerset. I think your Mary was rego'ed as Elizabeth. I would get "Elizabeth's" d.cert, and compare the d.o.d. with the date of burial, and also check the place of death, and compare it with the 1891 census I posted, which hopefully, you can tie back to your Mary.
I had an awful lot of bother finding the death of my ggg gran, Elizabeth Anderson. Eventually, it was found, but she was rego'ed by her son as Christian. Rego'ing a death can be stressful, and I suppose he just had a brain-freeze - he could read and write, so that's doesn't enter into it. However, she's buried in the same lair as her son named as Elizabeth, and the date and location on the tombstone match those on the d.cert. Also, as it was a Scottish d.cert, I could see "Christian's" parents matched Elizabeth's.

Greeting from Western Australia. Looking for date and place of death and burial for Mary Cummings,(various spellings) Somerset. Mary in the 1891 census is living witih her daughter Rebecca Turner nee Cummings and her family. Husband William Turner. They were living in Huntspill, Somerset. I have written to Somerset Registration Service, Heritage Centre to see if they have a record of Mary's death. They could not find her. They suggested I write(email) the General Register Office. Again no joy. I have also checked and contacted other members of this site and Ancestry and to date no joy.
Additional information I know about Mary: Mary was born 13.3.1807 Cannington, Somerset the daughter of James Bridges and Ann Hobbs. Mary married George Cummings on the 21.5.1829 at Cannington. George passed away 29.3.1884 at Barford Villa, Somerset.
As mentioned I live in Australia and heading to work now. I will check this thread when I return and in the days ahead. I appreciate any information, especially as I will be in Somerset for 2 days in July this year and hope to walk the ground where our ancestors lived and visit their final resting places.
