Ronald I. Leuchars, journeyman machinist
BRADENTON, Fla. -- Ronald I. Leuchars, 74, of Bradenton, Fla., died Sunday (July 2, 2006). Mr. Leuchars was born July 27, 1931, in Plainfield and moved to Bradenton, Fla., in 1993 from Middlesex.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict and retired from Man Roland Inc. as a journeyman machinist.

Mr. Leuchars was a past, two-time commodore of the Vikings Yacht Club in Laurence Harbor, and a member of Bound Brook Presbyterian Church in Bound Brook.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of Bradenton, Fla.; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Walter "Bud" Maslo and granddaughter, Morgen Maslo, all of Bradenton, Fla. and formerly of Toms River; and a sister, Margaret Stark of Toms River.

A memorial service will take place 9 a.m. July 15 at Kirkwood Presbyterian Church. Shannon Funeral Home, Town Chapel, Bradenton, Fla., is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made to www.shannonfuneral homes.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bound Brook Presbyterian Church, 409 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, NJ 08805.

Margaret Jean Stark, 81, of Berkeley, passed away Monday, Feb. 9, 2009, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Mrs. Stark was born and raised in Plainfield, she moved to andallstown, Md. and lived there for 30 years before moving to Holiday City 16 years ago. She was a graduate of Plainfield High School. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, The Daughters of Scotia, Flowers of Scotland Lodge, Lavallette. She was a bookkeeper Squan Furniture, Toms River for many years.

Mrs. Stark was predeceased by her brother, Ronald I. Leuchars. Surviving are her husband, Frederick C. Stark Jr.; her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Joyce Stark of Pasadena, Md.; and her granddaughter, Emily Stark.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River. Cremation will be private. Condolences may be left at www.mem.com.
