Ontario has 97/82/70 y closure on BMDs, so the last year released is 1915/1930/1942, but the most recent years aren't indexed yet. Ancestry has the most up-to-date online indexes - they have 1913/1928/1938.
Strictly speaking, deaths are not closed to all but close relatives - they're unrestricted, but there's no index published for 70 y.

The Canadian 1911 was 1/6/1911, so new arrivals can appear on the UK and Canadian censuses if they time their travel just right. (1871-1901 censuses were within 1 day of each other - the 1906/16 prairie censuses were also in June).

There's also 3 Boak's sailing on the Doric in Feb 1926 - Eva a=40 and her daur Eva a=9, (both born in Ratcliffe, which I presume is Radcliffe 5km SW of Bury), and an "unrelated" Effie Boak a=20 born in Noylake (which I presume is Hoylake 10 km W of Birkenhead). Daur Eva was in Canada 1916-1925. Effie was in Canada 12/2/24-21/11/25. All were in Toronto.

When she arrived in Canada in 1914 with her mother and younger sister ,she and her mother had been in Canada from 1911-1914, her 2 year old sister was born in Canada.

The problem with Canadian records is that they have much stricter privacy rules than we do. It varies between the different provinces but there's generally around an 80 year restriction on marriage records (about 100 years for births).

Canada have different privacy laws to the UK, which differ from Province to Province. It could be that the marriage isn't allowed to be released yet.
