I think Sir Charles Hales was born about 1545, but yes, the big question did he have a daughter: Dorothy Hales who married Richard Shrubsoll, the surname may also be seen written as Shrubsole. |

I've just found out much more info about my Wise family from Kent... Going all the way back through the Theobalds/Farley/Shrubsoll etc... Regarding the Shrubsoll surname: Dennis or Denise Shrubsoll, she was born abt 1629 in Kent, she married: George Tibball (Theobalds). Her parents were: Edward Shrubsoll and Marie Hinderson. Now comes the interesting bit: Edward Shrubsoll parents were Richard Shrubsoll born abt 1581 ? and Dorothy Hales also from Kent. Dorothy Hales parents were: Sir Charles Hales and Anne Honywood, wow! But is it true/correct ? Can anyone help me confirm this, would be great if this is part of my family tree. |
