Hi, hope someone can help because I've 'struck Out'

I'm trying to find the maiden name of James Thomas Fisher's wife -her first name is Mary.

James was born 1857 in Lane Head (Nr Wolverhampton -Staffordshire.

The census's show he was married between 1871 and 1891 (I can't find him in 1881).
The 1911 census states he was married in 1879 but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

The census's show Mary to have been born about 1860 in Wolverhampton.

Cheers

Terry

The birth certificate of one of his children will tell you her name, useful for confirmation, also.

The only problem with that one is that he was already married in the 1891 census.

Clara Fisher was born in 1878/1879.
Have you found a birth for her, or was she born before marriage?

Wungle

Wungle Report 5 Apr 2013 17:55

Her and four other siblings are in the 1991 census along with Mary

?
You have a choice of 2:
Births Dec 1878
Price Clara Ann Walsall 6b 732
Births Mar 1879
Price Clara Walsall 6b 691

I think you need the birth certificate of one of the children....
