Can anyone please help. Have been looking for this lady for sometime. She marries my grandfather, Robert Sweeney born 1885 Woolwich, in 1931. On wedding certificate she is 40 years old, spinster and a housekeeper. Her father is William Williams and he is on certificate as a carpenter, still alive at this point.
This is my grandfathers second marriage. He does not appear to ever live with her. Robert is London electoral rolls as living at 136 samuel street with his mum for a nos of years. Story is that Lily jumps in front of train!! Hvae looked for death but nothing. She seems to disappear.

What are you trying to find out?

The father may not have been alive......it depends on how the question about him was worded. Unless, of course, you know that he witnessed the marriage..........
