Hi, I am trying to ascertain the parentage of my Great Grandmother - Mary Ann Amy Griffiths b. 20.4.1892. Birth certificate states Henry and Amy (nee Jermyn) Griffiths who at the time of registering the birth (June 1892) were living at 57 King Street, Cornwall Road, Lambeth (Waterloo First sub district).

However, Baptismal records from St John's, Waterloo Road, Lambeth in May 1892 show a Mary Ann Amy Griffiths b. 20.4.1892 with parents as John and Alice living at 41 King Street.

I know that Mary Ann Amy obviously wont show up on the previous years census but I am hoping to ascertain if there were two Griffiths' families living within such close proximity and this being the case the likelihood of two Mary Ann Amy Griffiths being born on the same date within probably 100 yards of each other.

I'd be really grateful for any help or advice as after 10 years of searching for Mary Ann's parentage I am still very :-S

Many thanks
Jax
