Elizabeth was born Elizabeth Hobday 1864 in Brighton. She married Albert Bridger in 1883 and they had a daughter, Frances, in 1890. |

Is it possible she was placed in an asylum? Unfortunately it was common to commit women for conditions such as postnatal depression. |

Do you have her death certificate? It should give an address for where she was living when she died and the informant might give a clue. |

The census samples that Ann has posted relate to a woman married to a Henry William Bridger who had an oil and hardware shop, so can be eliminated. |
