I have found surnames 'Barbot' and Barbotte' in censuses with Country of birth 'France'; wondering whether William was born in France? Just a thought.....! |

Think the witnesses might be Charles Turner, age 30, and Mary Jane Harding, age 27, who married in 1881 who is listed as Gunner R G and address given as R G Barracks |

Hi to one and all please see if you can help ,Looking for a William w barbott on his marriage cert it states married to elsie Roberts 1882 Woolwich father William occup Butcher William w is listed as bombardier royal artillery I found him on the LDS site bellary india 1883 ,He must of died as wife elsie remarried to a Alfred Williams in bellary 1885,Trying to find him on any census,Also found him on forces war recurds date 1880 age 20 service no 3239 regards eddy |
