Elizabeth Vine baptised 29 July 1744 Little Bredy, Dorset, England died 15 April 1821 Toller Porcorum, Dorset, England. They had 6 children - Richard is a new one for me. Peter (1769 – 1842); Ann (1772 – ?); Edward (1781 – 1782); Twins Edward (1784 – 1858) and Thomas (1784 - ?); Stephen (1787 – 1855). Hope that helps. :-) |

His burial is 1814 West Lulworth -now i first thought cant be same John Samways because of this -as they are in Toller Porcorum living, having children etc but although can find Elizabeths likely burial in 1821 Toller Porcorum, not Johns burial -but of course he could have been buried in home parish could even be family grave? |

Thanks everyone, I believe on family search some of the Toller Porocorum records are showing as Tarrent Ruston so very confusing using that site. However I still had 1781 as Edward as well as the twins Edward and Thomas 1784. |

I am looking for a marriage, I believe in Dorset between John Samways and Elizabeth (EDIT MADE SORRY) unknown. First child i am aware of is baptised in 1781 (Edward Samways) Toller Porcorum and last 1786 (Stephen Samways). The dorset parish records it says are available on ancestry but i do not have this subscription, would someone please be willing to do this look up? thanks. Have followed this family and have Birth certificates/ marraige certificates and death certificates, now trying to go back via the parish registers. |
