having problem logging into my Scotlands people this morning Please can anyone help locate Douglas Bannan born around 1920-1925 in Scotland and married spouse with maiden name of Shanklin (They had 3 children) 2 sons and 1 daughter Many Thanks Pam |

thats very strange prety sure born scotland. One of the sons was born and lived in Scotland until he was 28 The daughter still lives in Scotland but dont know name. May be able to give place in Scotland later i think i may have it written down Thanks for trying Pam |

The only Bannon (or variant) marriage in Scotland between 1945 and 1970 is one between Douglas Bannon and Rosina Moran Daly, in 1957, in Govan. GROS data 644/10 0612. |

I think that there is a possibility that the surname you are looking for is Bannon not Bannan. |
