ok thanks reggie!! will start saving lol the death cert was no help at all. are there any children to this marriage? i had a look and couldn't see any, but believe there might be a catchpole still in the area in Garretts Road.

They should be on the ER.....but for that era, you have to know the address.

Buying the marriage cert is your best bet................

oooh thanks reggie!!!!!!!!! that's fab!! such a shame the NBI doesn't cover these dates as even a burial would help enormously. Might they be on an electoral role somewhere.......... or is it too recent? wow this is brill!

mmmmm i didn't know that reggie i assume they would have an index. Address on death cert is Bushey. 2 nearest churches are St Peters and St James. Sorry to be vague!! this chap is really giving me the runaround :-( as you can see from previous thread which i have bumped up. Still no sign on the 1911 or a military records grrrrrrrr trying to work backwards now from his death cert without any luck. Am clutching at straws to find anything on him at all, would love to just find closure on this line of the tree.

Unless you know which Church was used for the marriage, there is no way of seeing the info at the RO

I'm interested in a marriage Dec qtr 1912
James Catchpole - Bridget Bourke Watford 3a 1664
I'm trying to match this with a death cert
James Catchpole Sept qtr 1966 Watford age 82

(before i get get lots of angry replies) I have a thread on this chap before but this is a DIFFERENT enquiry and a specific enquiry. I have also found that adding an update to the original thread brings no replies!! Yes i know it helps to have a background sometimes but i usually ask a specific question for a reason. I hope not to offend anyone but to clarify the situation before i get any rude comments.
