1836 is pre-GRO, therefore the birth would not be registered

In any case, many births went unrecorded in the early years of the GRO, as, until 1875, there were no penalties for failure to register births

Looking for info on a Elizabeth Johnson 1836 ? From Lincolnshire and Elizabeth Ferguson 1803? Yorkshire ? . I know there is a lot of question marks but I am never sure about the info I find .any help would be most helpful .
