Apologies Margee I meant to say the Harriet Wells Edginton baptism was the grand daughter - got a bit confused. You are quite right - Charles Henry was the son of John and Charlotte. Sorry for the confusion! |

But it showed Charles Henry's parents as John & Charlotte but baptised the same day was Harriet Wells Edginton, daughter of Julia at the same address. |

Interesting that the address is left blank - I wonder where they were - I guess we'll never know!! |

These would all appear to be further children - thank you. The Charles Henry baptism was a grandson of John.( He had a daughter with his first wife called Julia who married a Wells). |

On the 1881 census, following along Chalk Farm Road, no 63 has been left blank. |

Thanks Jonesey - unfortunately not the one - the Edginton/Edgington name is very common in Oxfordshire and there are quite a few John's around. |
