Ilkeston can be Derbyshire or Notts so not sure. Elizabeth and Harold married quite late they adopted two boys had non of their own. I do not have a marriage certificate as looking for a friend.

Not seeing her on any census so looks like your friend needs to get the marriage cert. It will give her age at marriage and her fathers name.if known.
