I'm wondering whether that chap in the 1930s might be the right one? |

I am looking for any info on my grandfather Charles Midgeley. I do know he married my grandmother Lillian Tolley in Woolwich, London on April 25 1908. He was 29 years old and a Bombardier in the Royal Artillery also in Woolwich. His father was John a deceased farmer. Charles went on to have 4 children one of which, Eileen, was my mum, she told me that he went to work at the Royal Arsenal, also in Woolwich. He was supposedly sent by his employer , sometime in the 1920s to America, and that was the last the family ever heard from him. I cannot find where he was born, any passport or travel info,or his death.Any info would be welcome |
