Trying to find service record or any other info for:
David Manton b.app. 1848 Fleet, Long Sutton, Lincolnshire.

Shown on 1871 census. Military New Barracks, Gosport, Alverstoke, Hampshire
David Manton age 20 born Lincolnshire.

Shown on 1881 census 95th Regiment South Camp Aldershot, Hampshire
David Manton married age 32 born Long Sutton, Lincs.

He married Bridget Pope from Ireland. I am unable to find an entry for their marriage.

Any help much appreciated

Try the national archives site for the military info

Try the IGI for the marriage, which probably took place in Irealnd
