	Hello Alan, As it is quite possible that Valerie is still alive, it may be an idea to delete this thread and put your query on the Living Relatives board instead. There are some very useful guidelines at the top of that page which you will fine helpful. As you don't say how much research you have already done, it may be useful to put Valerie's details into the Search All Trees facility (click on Search above) and you will see that it is not an uncommon name or date of birth.
