I'm trying to find my birth mother jannet Stewart Born on or round about 1944 she married Alex knight from castelmilk Glasgow thay had a child born in 1968 I was the second child born 1969 I was adopted in 1977 my new name was Cowie she left on or around 1970 my sister s name is Alexis would love some information if anybody can help |

Have you looked on Scotlands People for their marriage etc and both your births . |

her birth but you have to order the cert through Scotlands people |

As Shirley says, you need to order that marriage certificate to make sure she is your sister. |
