As far as I know they would have the same birth record numbers but maybe if the twin was born dead they did'nt. I am not sure but think the only births that were recorded was if the baby had taken breath. Not sure about a still born. |

The only clue on the birth cert would be if a time of birth is given - but this might be a modern innovation, not sure! |

Most Scottish birth certs have the time on them so that is not any indication that there was a twin. |

Have you found the death of the little girl if she was about 3 years old when she died? |

No theres no record of a death either im rather confused. my grandad also has a seprate twin brother and sister ive found there record which have both which have got seperate records. |

Are you sure the 'long lost family' isn't getting confused and the death relates to the other set of twins? |
