Another query about the family above please.
At what address were they living at on the 1851 Ancestry census. Also The little girl Elize Hanten which is supposed to be Ellen Hunter I cannot find her birth details she could have been born anywhere in Lancashire but was supposed to be born in Liverpool on all the other censuses.
I would be really grateful for any help on finding these two problems..
Thanks in advance.

probably ....
Marriages Sep 1849 Hunter Elizabeth - Liverpool 20 273
I'm afraid I can't decipher the address. Number 6 and the Street starts with an H but hopefully someone else may know it.

On second thoughts maybe that Elize could be Elen ( spelt with only one L)
Maybe this one ?
Marriages Mar 1850 Hunter Ellen - Ormskirk 21 454

Thanks Mike.so the address doesn't look like 43 Milton street.??

Re your "twins" on the 1841 census - apologies if you know this but the way you have phrased the query makes it seem not - In the 1841 Census a policy of rounding down ages was in place. As such, people aged:
15-19 were recorded as 15 20-24 were recorded as 20 25-29 were recorded as 25 30-34 were recorded as 30 35-39 were recorded as 35...and so on
Under 15 were generally recorded at the age they actually were, so It may be that there were 2 sets of twins, but the enumerator could also have rounded them down too.

Stuart,
Thanks a lot,No aplogy needed and yes I do know about the rounding down of ages..
But it's the child Ellen Hunter I am looking for her birth.supposed to be 1851 or late 1850 as she is 1 yr old on the 1851 census. Or as Mike and Alvigal says mistranscribed on Ancestry Elize Hanten on 1851.
would also like the address if anyone could decipher the name.
Thanks Sue

Not sure it's transcribed on FMP - can't get via Census Reference search - it's not recognising the Piece/Folio/Page nor by inputting any of the proper or "Ancestry version" of the names. The writing is dreadful, was hoping to go a few pages either side of page 30 and pick up a recognisable street name, and work back from there but no luck
|
1851 Censuswas taken on Sunday 30th March 1851
so Ellen cannot be born 1851 as she is already 1 year old.
She could even have been born as far back as April 1849

Thanks Everyone for your patience and persistance.
Your all Brilliant.
