I am trying to find information on Thomas Shutt and Joseph Stock who were glass manufacturers/merchants. They were partners in the British Crown Glass Company at one time which was sold to Chance Bros after the death of Thomas Shutt. The business was based near Birmingham on the site of what became the Cadbury Bournville site. I am trying to confirm their position in my tree. Thomas was probably the father in law of Joseph (maybe brother inlaw but less likely). any info would be appreciated |
