There were two born a year apart so need to be careful not to mix them up: |

There is also this death which could be for the first of the births MarieCeleste posted earlier:- |

Good find Kath. Could possibly be the same parents if they named the later born child in memory of the one that died. |

That's what I thought MarieCeleste. Of course the only way of knowing for certain would be to see all of the certificates. |

Sorry to ask again but if anyone could point me in the right direction to find any descendants of the below members of my family. Apart from Norman I don't seem to be able to find one relative of the next generation. |

Many thanks for your help. This a big step step in the right direction. My father will be pleased since he has no connection with his father's family since 70 years. |

After much looking, please could you give me some advice how I advance to the next generation? With no census after 1911 this is proving difficult. I would love to know where you find your info... With thanks |

Hi Lucy, you need to use FreeBMD to find possible marriages, then look for possible offspring from that marriage using the surname and mother's maiden name and so on. |

Thank you again MC. I shall follow your advice and look up Lancashire BMD and others. |
