Parents were Anthony born 1806, died 1884 Parsonstown near Clara and Alicia Ann born 1804 died 1890. Known children were William, of course, and Catherine born 1840, died 1921 South Australia, also Adelaide who stayed in Ireland and married a Richard H. Taylor and had 7 children. 	Have you looked at the Irish censuses for 1901 and 1911? They are FREE.........at www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ You seem to know quite a lot already. What do you hope to learn? It is easier to help if you ask a specific question

Member Since: July 2004 Posts: 8 Send Message	Sorry i did not answer your query in full. King`s County is now called Offaly post 1921 after the Irish fight for independence. Names of some counties and towns changed to more Irish names. Some places in the west still only have signs in gaelic and not english. Thanks, Noel
