I have found her. She was Margaret Edwina born 1931. No fathers name. How could I find out if the father had a court order to maintain her? |

As you have probably realised, there does not appear to be a birth for her. |

Thank you Gins. I have a copy of the marriage certificate which gives Jane Evans as a spinster aged 38 yet on the 1891 census Jane is 30. Edward is aged 40 on the marriage certificate and a widower. In 1891 he is 50 on the census. I have tried finding Jane's father David Evans farmer in Trefeglwys at Argoed, but no luck and with very little time. I have not found him yet!!! |

Thank you for your replies. I have found Sarah Jane on the 1891, 1901 and the 1911 census data. She was 4 in 1891, 14 and 25 in 1911 any suggestions why? We are trying to get a birth certificate from my husbands cousin, but we think she was born in 1887? |

Have you got any of the childrens' birth certificates, so you can confirm the maiden name(s) of their Mother(s)? |

I am looking for relatives of Edward Owen 1841 from Trefeglwys. His first wife was Anne ? they had four children the youngest called John. The second marriage was to Jane (Evans?). Their children were Sarah Jane 1888, Thomas 1889, Rachel 1891, William 1894. Alfred 1896. Evan 1898 and Elizabeth 1901. |
