Oh, 1,000 thanks to you Choccy. That is absolutely her, and my cousin - who by an amazing coincidence lives in Pennsylvania - can now apply for her grandmother's death certificate. As I'm sure you know, the US is very picky about who can and cannot apply for DC's and you have to prove your relationship. Cousin will be thrilled. Enormous thanks again.

I have added this here since it has come up on ancestry worldwide when I put in the details for the above Doris V. Hervey.
But it makes no sense at all, since the Violet and William mentioned are both very much buried not ten miles from where I live in the UK!!
Can some kind person PLEASE get the details of the below for me so that I can try to unravel this:
