If you purchase Norman's birth certificate, it will give you the name of his father....which might then help you to confirm the marriage of his parents..

Many thanks will look into that. I am not sure where Joyce was born I only know where her son Norman was born and who his adopted parents were.

Hi trying to find information on Joyce Smith formerly Fuller born possibly Shoreham by Sea. She had a son Norman Smith born 19th feb 1944 who was adopted by Harold and Elizabeth Fisher when he was 10 months old..
