Thomas Edmund married Elizabeth Hughes nee Gee. They had 2 daughters Emily b 1859 & Sophia Jane born 1861 both were born in Tasmania.
Sophia married a William Kenny 27 April 1886
Thomas left Tasmania and came to NZ.suspect he just left Elizabeth & children as I have not been able to find divorce any where. H married Elizabeth Close in Akaroa,Canterbury,NZL. dec 14 1872.
They had 5 children Isabella Helen 1873
Mary Elizabeth 1875
Robert Thomas Stephens 1877
William George 1879
Sydney Stephen 1881
On Elizabeth Stenson Death Cert it gives her fathers name a John and his occupation as Watch Maker.
