If you look at the references for both 1841 census records it shows that Joseph Hodges and Clarrisa (then Ludlam) were living very close to each other.

Thanks, she married a James Ludlam, I do not know if she has a brother Joseph I found this info and looks like it could be the right family.
Can't find a Hodges that tie in with Williams birth. Clara is my 2 x Gt Grandmother. Thanks .

There is a tree on Ancestry for a William Hodges married to a Winifred Castledine

Winifred b 1764 Leicester died 1815 Leicester All Saints
They married 1787 Leicester All Saints
There are records of 10 children born between 1787 and 1805 ,one of which is a William born 1796 (all born Leicester All Saints)

I am trying to find parents of Clara I have found a possible but not sure if these are correct. William 1796 and an Ann Smith. There is a a William Hodges 1760 and a Winifred that may be grandparents. Clarissa was born in Leicester. Any help would be appreciated.
