have noted mgnv message. But is there anything similar in canada to our electoral roll. Hence wanting to find David, Ross and Ken Parker who would be in their 60s approx now and possibly still in toronto area.

Birth records for 1943 Toronto should be released abt 30 y from now.

Hi, although earlier i said had made link with family in canada, to which was partly true, but it was another family link. The names i first gave was not completely correct it should have read
Irene wed Harold Parker, and had children David, Ross and Ken
it is the children i am trying to make contact with all born 1943 to 1951 possibly Toronto??
The family to which made contact with i asked if they where in touch with these children or knew as to where they could be contacted but dont seem to be getting any replies - hence this posting again just hoping someone might be able to help.

There's not much response here, brummie, simply because records that recent are very difficult to access in Canada because of privacy laws.

If I could just add that you said in your opening that the family sailed to Toronto then Montreal. They would have disembarked at Montreal because that's as far inland as ocean liners could go. They would then have taken a train to Toronto.

Hi, firstly to Margee, i dont think this is a duplicated thread, for have listed the names and dob on children born between 1940s and 1970s to which i am looking for. I gave the information of one of their parents (irene) so no one would lookup on her details also mentioned details of Enoch again so no lookup would be done on him, i only mentioned re Enoch for info on where he sailed to.
Ginny i think Irene possibly scotland no nothing on Harold, but not actually looking for these people but their children now.

When and where was Enoch born...also where were Irene and Harold born please?

i have found pipl site that Irenes father Enoch enlisted in canada ww1 and stated signed up in Toronto, so possibly?? the continuation of this family could still be in Toronto.

Believe that within our tree a Irene Evans (1916-2005) married a Harold Parker. Went on to have children david, ross ron and isobella,
who in turn this people had their children

These people would be direct descendant from our gr gr gr gr gr grandparents, to which the family originated in shropshire england.
Have looked on search's but found nothing, just hoping someone might be able to see if they search elsewhere in trying to locate these people.
I know it is a long shot but thought would give it a try and hope that someone MIGHT know of these people. Yes i know Canada is a huge country, the only clue we have is that when the family originally went in 1912ish they sailed toronto and then again to montreal, so dont know if the family could still be within those areas.
