Can anyone help please? Family history is that my father Andrew Kelly was in WW1 merchant navy was shipwrecked 3 times and then joined the Army.I would guess Artillery as he lost his index fire when the repeater gun jammed.His DoB 15.08.1895 and his address was G court Oxford Terrace Sylvester (Silvester) Street Liverpool His widowed mother was Margaret Kelly.How can I find his service number (s) as there are dozens & dozens of Andrew Kelly on Ancestry. |
