Find Ancestors

I am trying to find out information regarding a distant aunt. She was known as Maggie and was married to a man called Richard and had a son called Gerard. They lived in Ramsgate then she and her son with daughter - in - law Joan moved to Aldershot . I cannot find any information as to where she is buried. It has been said she died in Farnham but I have been told by her g great granddaughter that she cannot get any information from those two areas as to what where she may have been buried. I would be grateful for some help that I can pass on the info to her relative in New Zealand.
Maggie's maiden name was Kelly, her son Gerard was born in 1920 in Hebburn. I don't have any info regarding when she moved to Ramsgate where she ran a boarding house for many years. Thanks

She died in 1981 and it was either Aldershot or Farnham, that's as much as her gg granddaughter knows she lives in NZ and is having trouble getting info

I am sorry for not replying, I moved house a couple of years ago and I have had a tremendous amount of work to do, consequently I have not been logging in to Genes for a very long time.
Margaret Fletcher was called Kelly before she married. Once married she moved down south and eventually settled down in Margate and ran a boarding house. Once again I do apologise for not replying

Do you have Margaret in a census, so that we can get an idea of dates.

..... She might even be on 1901 and 1911.

Farnham ./ Aldershot area is right near the county boundaries of Surrey and Hampshire, so that is quite a wide area for searching a death....presuming she died in her home area.
Frimley Park hospital is a large hospital serving that region.
A death there would be in Surrey.

If she is likely to have been cremated, you could contact Aldershot Crematorium, but they might need a few more details eg. full name and age to be able to search their records as her name is not uncommon.

If you think the death is hers........buy the cert for last address info, and exact death date.

Then contact the nearest cemetery and ask if they are able/willing to carry out searches........

But, bear in mind that she could have been cremated...........and, as her son pre-deceased her, it's unlikely that anyone will have renewed the plaque.
