I wonder if anyone can help. I've read your notes and they talk about a brass foundry. I'm trying to trace the name of the Brass Foundry in Lambeth where my great great grandfather George Watkinson worked and also his son Charles. Approx dates are the 1850's onwards. Possibly the building was in Waterloo Road, but now demolished. Does this ring any bells with you please?

Although one of the census records mentions a brass foundry you'll not get the best response by tagging on to the end of a thread about an unrelated family.

You're best bet is to start a new thread of your own (go to the front page of this board and use "add topic"). Make sure to give details of when/where George and Charles were born. I know it's the name of the foundry you're looking for but if we can place what their occupations were and when from the census records then it might just help.
