Hi, can't add too much to what is already here, except Elizabeth Matilda's first husband was John David Hankin, born 1855, Horsleydown, St John's, London, died jan 1905.

I do however have the WW1 service medals for Herbert Rischard Veryard, if you would like a photo of them just let me know.

Order your certs from here and only here online,its the only official place to get certs..

You will need the refs ( Vol 1d page 281 )that go with the marriage details to do that.

£9.25p and about 5 days to come.

If you run into trouble doing it just come back here and I will try to explain "how to".

If you order the certificate thats the volume no you have to give along with the page number 281 or which ever number it says

wonder why she used her maiden name when she married again? Marriage in 1905 says she is 28 ?? little fib I think
