it is intermittent this fault cos I have managed to sent a few today but it is not doing so now

Or, if you have any idea which area he grew up in, you could try Friends Reunited for schools he or any of his siblings might have attended.

Still trying to get the hang of this.Thank you ladies very much but unfortunatley they where never married.I lost contact with my father at a very young age and am now trying to find him or his family

Hi Rebecca,

I've found a birth for 1961 and a possible marriage for 1992 on scotlandspeople but neither of them in Glagow.
But as Shirley says you will have to send for the certificates as they are too recent to view online.

your parents marriage cert should give some details of his father
you need Scotlands People website which is free to search but pay to view or buy certs
