The links you have found are all with the same family.

I think he must have been away at sea at the time of the earlier census'.

The family seemed to break up around 1860 leaving the father, Ambose and a son in the Kings Lynn Workhouse whilst the mother Susanna moved to Grimsby with other members of the family.

He was a sailor in 1881 so might be found on board a ship?
