It is just a possibility that Thomas and Frances are the parents of Thomas who married Mary Curtis and therefore the grandparents of your Thomas.

But at the moment there is nothing to prove this.
As Reggie says, when you see someone in their 50's having children, you need to wonder if you have skipped a generation.

I think a bit more research is needed.

Both parents would have been in their early 50's when the child was born,

Whilst that is not impossible both Male and Female fertility falles to around 0% for women 50+ years old more slowly in men

What are the odds on both parents bucking that trend and having a healthy child back in 1807

Hi everybody, problem solved, Thomas Herbert Reynoldson was born 31/7/1807 in Wisbech ,it is believed the family moved from Wisbech to Boston when he was 1year old, and grew up thinking that he had been born in Boston, his parents were
Thomas b.1781 and (Mary b.1784 nee Curtis.) Thomas his father b.1755 was still married to Francis, nee Louth, until 1813 when he died,( extract from his will "I leave to my beloved wife Francis, hardly the way it would be worded if he had married Mary in 1806) this will was written in 1811.!!!!!!
