If the person whose address was shown on the thread is still alive, then somebody may have objected to that information being broadcast on the internet. In such cases GR tend to remove posts/threads in order to protect privacy.

Thank you Jean xx My mum is 84 and has met up with her old school friend
.They talk to each other all the time and are so glad to have to have got in touch after all theses years. So a big thank you from them and me xx

Unfortunately the tread has gone. I keep them all and have them going back to 2006 but this one is just not there.

Linda,

If it was your thrad it will not have gone unless you deleted it!!

Look to the left of the messages and you will see a list of things.

Go down to 'tools' and under there you will see 'my threads'

Click on this and it will bring up all the threads you have started or posted on.

You should be able to find the one you want and click on it to open.

Hello there
A few weeks ago I was trying to find my mums friend Ella Black. form sixty years ago. She married Jonny Hubbard and they live in Prestwick Scotland.
A very kind person managed to find the address and tel no but the thread has gone and I have lost the address. Can anyone help. Thank you Linda
