Hi.My mother a Sybil Rowland B 1907.Liverpool.Lost her mother when she was about 10 years old.she lived with her father a Charles Rowland.in 11 Wellington Ave.Liverpool.
What iam trying to trace she had 3 illigitmate children.John b1928.George b.1931.Dorothy.1933.
I have been looking under the Bastard records in the libary but there is no trace of the father.i was told in the libary if her name was not in the bonds. she must have been keep by the father.

Have you tried checking the electoral lists for the addresses shown on the children's birth certificates?
They seem evenly spaced so perhaps had the same father, who may be shown at that address.
Baptisms may also show a father's name.
Whereas his name could not be entered on his illegitimate child's birth certificate, unless he was present, he could still be named on the church register.
