Trying to information regarding William Minto who married Agnes Kathleen Jessop Eccelstone. Date unknown. Their only child Susan died shortly after birth 1943 Surrey. He possibly died during the war years.

There doesn't seem to be such a marriage in the GRO index as searchable at Ancestry.

Do you have their names from the child's birth certificate?

Clarity does help (also spelling) - ordinarily one assumes that the last name is the surname.

Still seeing no marriage. Not in England/Wales?

Agnes does not seem to have remarried or died as Minto in England/Wales.

Did a bit of a google for "jessop ecclestone". Some interesting things -- but I guess you're familiar with the Jessop-Ecclestone side, Linda?

Agnes Kathleen Jessop Ecclestone and Agnes Queenie Jessop-Ecclestone are definitely different people?

There's a marriage for the latter in 1963.

But the only birth approximating either is Agnes H Ecclestone, 1925 Stafford.

Just enter susan minto surrey in the search boxes. Keith Clark has her in his tree. Click on his name to contact him.

Agnes has married in 1923 in Mains, Angus, Scotland. William Minto, her husband, was born there in 1899. I have no further info, sorry
